Arriving to your Appointment

New clients usually ask us what they need to do to their hair before their appointment. Prior to your appointment, start shampooing and conditioning weekly to ensure you get the most out of your Frokin session. I ask clients to not have gone more than 7 days since their last shampoo and detangle.Freshly cleansed and conditioned hair is not expected as this is a part of your service.If you have just removed a protective style such as box braids and you would like us to shampoo and condition and detangle rather than doing it yourself, please book the Extra Shampoo/Extra Detangle Service with your appointment.Kindly remove twists, braids, or plaits to arriving to your appointment.

Question 2

Payment

Accepted Answer

Payment is made at the time of your appointment in cash. However, a 50% deposits is required for colour or relaxer/keratin services via MMG or Online Bank Transfer.

Question 3

Cancellation/Reschedule

Accepted Answer

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please return to your booking text or email and self-cancel in the online portal at least 2 days before your appointment.If you need to cancel outside that timeframe please send a message via Whatsapp or email to let me know. I understand things happen, please don’t have worried about you if you can help it.

Question 4

No Call/No Show

A No Text/No Show is someone who does not reach out to cancel their appointment.They are no penalties for these. If you have had a genuine emergency please contact me within the 3 days to let me know what happened.Without contact you will be placed on the banned clients list and not allowed to book again. I’m an Aquarius, my ability to hold grudges is legendary.

Question 5

Lateness

Accepted Answer

There are no additional charges for lateness. If you are running late, communication is key. Clients who are more than 2 5mins late maybe asked to reschedule if I cannot accommodate you.

Question 6

Children

Accepted Answer

Services are available to children 5 years and up, choose the Junior shape and sculpt option for 5-10 year olds. Exceptions maybe made on a case by case basis is your child is younger than 5 years and is able to sit through the during a  salon service.

Question 7

Matting Service

Accepted Answer

The Matting service is for out of the ordinary detangling. This is usually for folks who have gone 2+ weeks without care and/or have large areas of their hair that has fused together unintentionally. This service is priced at $3500/hour and charged in 15 minute increments ($500) after. The need for this service will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Photography/Videography

FOR CLIENTS:You are not obligated to be featured on my website or social media.I will take photos for documentation of your appointment that will live in your client profile. This is to document your progress and provide evidence of the service completed.If you are comfortable being featured on my public facing accounts I will have you sign a media release covering use and application during your first appointment.You are fully empowered to revoke that permission at any time.FOR ME:I do not allow myself to be photographed or put on video without my consent prior to your appointment.

Dissatisfaction/Redos

I may miss the mark and not get it right the first time.  If you're not satisfied at the end of the appointment, please let me know. I make a point to ask, “Is there anything you’d like me to change?” to ensure we address any concerns on the spot. This is your time to speak up and I want you to feel great about your hair.My ultimate goal is to wow you with your hair! I set realistic expectations at the start of each appointment based on the condition of your hair, my abilities, and lifestyle/climate considerations.If it’s too difficult to speak up at the moment, no worries. Please message  me within 24 hours after your appointment to express your thoughts, and I’ll workout a solution to rectify it. After 24 hours, I'll still welcome your feedback, but any remedy will need to be done in another paid appointment.
