Frequently asked questions

Although I acknowledge that life happens, it is not acceptable to arrive at your appointment with severely matted, greasy, and tangled hair. All clients should come with their hair in workable condition. Please arrive with hair that has been cleansed, conditioned + detangled thoroughly within  4 - 7 days of your appointment. Before your appointment, please do your best to detangle your hair, especially after taking out any twists, braids, faux locs, etc.You will be charged a matting fee of $1500 per 30 minutes if your hair requires additional time + products before shampoo. Choose the extra detangling/extra shampoo add-on when booking.

Your Payment is due in full via MMG or Online Bank Transfer at the time of booking your appointment. Payments made to Frokin Haircare (Latrice) are non-refundable.

You may cancel or reschedule no later than 2 days before your booked appointment without losing payment. Return to your booking text or email and self-cancel in the online portal.If you need to cancel outside that timeframe, please send a message via Whatsapp or email to let me know. The service amount will remain valid for up to 30 days after the initial appointment date before forfeiture. Special considerations can be made if discussed with stylist.

A No Text/No Show is someone who does not reach out to cancel their appointment.If you have had a genuine emergency, please contact me within 2 days to let me know what happened.Without contact, your payment will not be refunded and you will be placed on the banned clients list and not allowed to book again. I’m an Aquarius, my ability to hold grudges is legendary.

There are no additional charges for lateness. If you are running late, communication is key. Clients who are more than 15mins late maybe asked to reschedule if I cannot accommodate you.

The Matting service is for out of the ordinary detangling. This is usually for folks who have gone 2+ weeks without care and/or have large areas of their hair that has fused together unintentionally. This service is priced at $3500/hour and charged in 15 minute increments ($500) after. The need for this service will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

FOR CLIENTS:You are not obligated to be featured on my website or social media.I will take photos for documentation of your appointment that will live in your client profile. This is to document your progress and provide evidence of the service completed.If you are comfortable being featured on my public facing accounts I will have you sign a media release covering use and application during your first appointment.You are fully empowered to revoke that permission at any time.FOR ME:I do not allow myself to be photographed or put on video without my consent prior to your appointment.

I may miss the mark and not get it right the first time.  If you're not satisfied at the end of the appointment, please let me know. I make a point to ask, “Is there anything you’d like me to change?” to ensure we address any concerns on the spot. This is your time to speak up and I want you to feel great about your hair.My ultimate goal is to wow you with your hair! I set realistic expectations at the start of each appointment based on the condition of your hair, my abilities, and lifestyle/climate considerations.If it’s too difficult to speak up at the moment, no worries. Please message  me within 24 hours after your appointment to express your thoughts, and I’ll workout a solution to rectify it. After 24 hours, I'll still welcome your feedback, but any remedy will need to be done in another paid appointment.
